ACE IN SWITZERLAND!
Every year, ACE organises the ACE PRODUCERS’ ANNUAL REUNION in a different country, which for a period of five days brings together some 50 of its members for discussions about their projects in development and the situation of the audiovisual industry at an international level, as well as screenings and case studies of films produced by them. In 2010, ACE will welcome 8 non-EU producers to its delegation, most probably from Latin America, Australia, the Balkans, Canada, Israel, Japan, New-Zealand and Turkey.
This year, the ACE Producers’ Annual Reunion will be held in Zurich, from the 17-21st March, in co-production with FOCAL and thanks to the support of the Swiss Federal Office of Culture and the Zürcher Filmstiftung.
ACE will take this opportunity to organise an encounter with Swiss producers: the FOCUS ON SWITZERLAND, 18th and 19th March 2010 will provide a perfect occasion to present the Swiss film industry and all of its specificities, especially focusing on co-production. This meeting will allow for discussions about co-productions between Switzerland, Europe and the other continents, as well as giving the professionals present an opportunity to make contacts and to share, in an informal and friendly environment, their past experiences or/and talk about their projects in development with an eye to future collaborations.
